The short version
Your timers, alarms, clock settings and saved timezones are stored in your own browser using local storage. They are never transmitted to this site or anywhere else. There is no account system, no login, and no database of users, because there is nothing to put in one.
What is stored in your browser
Local storage on this site holds your selected timezone, time format, display preferences, saved world clocks, running timers, alarms and stopwatch state. This data stays on your device and is readable only by this site. Clearing your browser data for this domain removes all of it permanently.
Analytics
Aggregate traffic measurement may be used to understand which tools are used and where they break. Any such measurement is limited to page-level data — which pages are viewed, from which country, on what kind of device — and is never combined with the contents of your timers or alarms, which never leave your browser in the first place.
Advertising and cookies
This site is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, and manage broader opt-outs at aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent choice before any personalised advertising cookie is set; declining means you see non-personalised ads rather than none.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, the UK, California or another jurisdiction with data protection legislation, you have rights of access, correction and deletion over personal data held about you. Because this site holds no personal data about you on any server, deletion is entirely in your hands: clear this site data in your browser settings. Requests relating to advertising data held by Google go to Google directly.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone, including children. Pages intended for classroom projection carry no advertising.
